Here and Now Therapy

Life can feel overwhelming at times, whether it’s anxiety, trauma, or challenges in relationships and everyday life. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and I strive to provide a supportive and compassionate space where adults and couples can feel truly seen, heard, and understood as we work together toward meaningful change. I offer virtual and in-person sessions, along with walk-and-talk therapy when appropriate. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, interpersonal difficulties, and challenges with self-esteem or identity. I also work with couples who feel stuck in recurring patterns, communication breakdowns, or emotional disconnection.

At the heart of my work is a collaborative process rooted in trust, empathy, and compassion, one where you feel safe to explore your experiences, strengthen self-awareness, and move toward the life you want to lead. I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Adlerian therapy, guided by a multicultural perspective, to support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and healthier relationships. I tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs, helping you build strategies that create lasting, meaningful change.

My personal mental health journey inspired me to become a therapist and support others in feeling understood and empowered in their healing. I bring a holistic perspective to my work, recognizing the connection between mental, emotional, physical, and relational well-being. Outside of my clinical work, I value holistic wellness, self-care, movement, and time outdoors. I approach therapy and life with curiosity, empathy, and balance, and I’m here to help you feel empowered in your healing and growth.

I believe that every person has the inner strength to face the challenges of this life. My goal is to help you find that strength, while also developing the insight and skills to navigate challenges in a way that you align with.

As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I specialize in trauma, monogamous/ non-monogamous relationship concerns, and life transitions. My education includes an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Behavioural Psychology and a Master of Art in Counselling Psychology. I have additional training in Emotion Focused Individual Therapy, trauma treatment, and narcissistic abuse. My goal is to provide you with a safe, empathetic, collaborative, and judgement-free environment, so that you can share your story and express your feelings without fear. I practice from a client centered approach based in psychodynamic and emotion focused therapy. From there, I draw on techniques from other therapies to best suit your comfort and needs. These can include solution focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy; however, we will only use approaches that you are comfortable with.

Working towards healing takes a lot of curiosity and courage, as it can be daunting and feel unsafe but you do not need to face the challenges of life alone.
